Željko Tufekčić
Željko was educated in microelectronics and has spent over 15 years in
the semiconductor industry, where he has worked for a number UK and
US high-tech companies including FTSE100 listed ARM Ltd.
He brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing knowledge with
experience in business development, strategic and global sales
situations, product and strategic account marketing and engineering
operations.
In 2011, Željko co-founded Vino Nostro Ltd, a UK based wine merchant,
focusing on Croatian wine.
He is passionate about food and wine, loves to dabble in the kitchen and
enjoys a round of golf and an occasional motorbike ride.
Michael English
Michael started his career in the automotive industry, spending sixteen
years with Chrysler Corporation, ending up as manager of the MEA
operations. He followed this with a move to the Cummins Engine
Company, working in the UK and Germany as International Business
Development Manager, followed by a move to USSR/Russia, as Director
of one of the largest USA/USSR joint ventures.
In 1995, Michael started a company representing UK businesses in
Russia and was one of the founding members of the European Business
Club in Moscow. For the past sixteen year he has worked as an
independent freelance consultant, working on EU projects in the Balkans
and the Middle East, covering technical assistance for foreign direct
investment, competitiveness and innovation.
Franko Cetinich
Franko began his career as a fitter and turner/machinist when he
emiigrated to Australia from the island of Korcula in 1970. Recognising a
gap in the market for flexible, reliable and skilled contractors, Franko
launched Cefrank Contractors in 1979. Indentifying an opportunity in the
compressed gases industry, he evolved the company into CEFRANK
Engineering in 1981, a leading supplier of independently designed and
manufactures compressed gas cylinder equipment in Australia.
CEFRANK Engineering became a global concern supplying to all the
major global companies including BOC, Linde and Messer, and
establishing Cefrank Engineering Co. Ltd in Changzhou, China as the
company’s major manufacturing location in 1996.
In 1998, the foundations for Cefrank d.o.o. were laid on the island of
Korcula, Croatia. The European site would act as a base for European
manufacture, assembly, storage and sales.
In February 2011 Franko made the significant move of relocating from his
home of 40 years in Sydney, Australia to the UK. CEFRANK UK Limited
was established in 2012 in order to consolidate the company operations,
further expand the European market share and establish a foot hold in
the US market.
Franko brings with him a wealth of international travel and business
experience, along with a large network of friends and associates from a
variety of industries and cultures. Frank's interests include supporting the
arts and various philanthropic projects.
Paul Jenc
Paul has been a resident in London for over 30 years and trained in
business law in Croatia before moving to England. His career progressed
with owning recognised companies, which have developed trade relations
during the last 20 years between the UK and Croatia. He is one of the
founders of two PLC companies which have been floated on the AIM and
OFEX lists of the London Stock Exchange, and has been Executive
Director of both.
In the UK Mr. Jenc is active in the Anglo-Croatian community, including
being a Trustee and Treasurer of the British-Croatian Society. He has
received the "Odlicje Hrvatskog Pletera" medal from the Croatian
President for his work on the special promotion of Croatia in the UK and
was also presented with the International Humanitarian Military Medal.
Christopher Rudd
Christopher graduate with a BSc in Economics from the London School of
Economics, which he followed with a Masters in Corporate Finance from
the London Business School.
Over his long business career, he has held a number of Management and
Executive positions in the oil and bulk liquid storage and handling, food
processing and operational management, project management and
contracting, and hotel and tourism sectors with blue chips companies
including BP and Tate & Lyle Plc.
He is currently the Managing Director of his own a Marketing, Financial &
Economic Consultancy Services company, Fineco Ltd.
Christopher has global business experience, and his various roles have
taken him on projects and assignment in a dazzling array of countries,
including Kenya, Zambia, Botswana, Swaziland, South Africa, Belize,
Mauritius, Russia (Western, Urals, Siberia and Far East), the Baltic
states, Bulgaria, the Balkans, Central Asia and FYR Macedonia.
He has experties in working with both public and private clients, as well
as international organisations including the EBRD, IFC, IBRD DIFD, ADB,
AfDB, FAO and the TAM/BAS Programme.
Nigel Davies
Nigel is managing director of Wyn River Limited, a dynamic advisory firm
which works across Central and South East Europe, Russia and the
Commonwealth of Independent States. Wyn River supports companies in
the region with business planning, finance raising and operational
improvement. It also advises strategic and financial investors who are
considering new corporate and infrastructure investments in Croatia.
Nigel lived in several South East European countries between 1997 and
2003 while working with Deloitte, where he led or project managed many
privatisation, restructuring and sector reform programmes. As Bulgarian
rowing champion in 1999, Nigel is a big fan of business and community
through sport.
Prior to forming Wyn River Limited in 2013, Nigel worked at Grant
Thornton International for 7 years coordinating cross-border advisory
activity.
Nigel speaks regularly on regional company and project financing/PPP
and restructuring and insolvency issues.
