Redefining Investment in Business
Goals and Priorities 1. BCBC will publish an annual plan, to be reviewed at the end of the year. In keeping with best business practices, BCBC will be committed to long-term planning required to make any vision a reality. 2. BCBC will maintain and improve the visual appeal of the website. It will introduce a web forum for the discussion of economic issues facing investors and existing businesses alike, and introduce website advertising for members and sponsors on the basis of their size and interest. 3. BCBC will seek global new members to enhance the quality of networking. It will work to expand membership and focus on active involvement of current members. It will facilitate effective member support, meeting opportunities, and programs, thus nurturing membership growth and providing strong incentives for joining the Club. 4. BCBC will work on a favourable image of all countries as a place to visit and do business.  It will promote and develop bilateral links and improve the relationship with The British Chamber of Commerce, The Croatian Chamber of Economy and other Business Clubs around the world. 5. BCBC will foster and build strong leadership through its programs and connections with other associations and government groups. 6. BCBC will encourage the best in education, and will maximise its influence to bring about the most advantageous educational opportunities for students. 7. BCBC will endeavour to strengthen its credibility and viability as a driver of business relationships between the UK and Croatia, will increase business opportunities for members, and keep members informed on key issues pertaining to doing business between the two countries. 8. BCBC will strengthen its own leadership. With lofty goals for itself, BCBC recognises that good achievement relies solely on its own ability to lead. Programs and activities for the steering committee will centre on strong leadership skills and enhanced members involvement at every level.
